Today was our first Help Haiti Thursday! Early Act students circulated around the lunch tables taking money, coloring pinkies, and educating each other about the need for clean water. This week's main facts:
This first week Cherry Creek raised over $80 for Haiti. That is ALMOST enough for one water filter already!! Way to Go 4 It Cherry Creek!
- 30,000 people around the world die every week because they do not have access to clean water.
- 90% of those people are children under the age of five.
